Vedic Remedies
वैदिक उपाय
These sacred remedies honor the Vishwadevas, the ten universal virtues, and harmonize the Sun's authority, transforming personal achievement into genuinely universal service and lasting spiritual victory.
Mantra
ॐ विश्वेभ्यो देवेभ्यो नमः
Om Vishwebhyo Devebhyo Namah
Recite 108 times on Sundays at sunrise, facing East. For solar vitality, also recite the Aditya Hridayam, the complete solar hymn from the Ramayana, each morning for sustained Uttara Ashadha strength. Surya Beej: Om Hram Hrim Hraum Sah Suryaya Namah.
Deity Worship
Vishwadevas, the ten universal divine principles; honored collectively through virtuous action
The highest worship for the Vishwadevas is the practice of their ten virtues: goodness, truth, will, skill, right timing, right desire, steadiness, ancestral honor, generosity, and gentleness, embodied in daily action. Also honor the Sun each morning with Arghya (water offering). Visit Vishnu temples and Surya temples on Sundays.
Gemstone
Ruby (Manikya) for Sun
Minimum 3 carats, set in gold, worn on the ring finger of the right hand on a Sunday at sunrise during the bright fortnight after proper Sun-energising rituals.
⚠ Ruby intensifies solar energy powerfully. Strong Pitta constitutions should assess carefully. The Sun's role as functional benefic or malefic in the individual chart must be determined. Consult Pt. Dr. Pankaj Madhav before wearing.
Yantra
Surya Yantra, energise on a Sunday at sunrise. Place facing East in the home shrine. Recite the Aditya Hridayam before the Yantra. A Vishwadevas Yantra, if available, brings the blessings of all ten universal virtues simultaneously.
Charitable Acts
- ✦Support universal causes, organizations that benefit all humanity regardless of category
- ✦Donate to public institutions, libraries, hospitals, schools
- ✦Feed the poor, the Vishwadevas' generosity principle in action
- ✦Support senior and elder welfare
- ✦Donate copper, wheat, and golden items on Sundays
Fasting
Sunday (Sun's day). The Surya Saptami, the seventh day of the bright fortnight, is particularly auspicious for Uttara Ashadha. Also the annual celebration of Ratha Saptami (solar new year festival).
Colors
Wear copper, golden yellow, or white on Sundays and important days. The Vishwadevas' universality suggests wearing the full spectrum, using all colors appropriately honors all ten virtues.
