Vedic Remedies

वैदिक उपाय

These sacred remedies honor the Pitrs, the ancestral fathers who stand behind every Magha native, and harmonize Ketu's spiritual depth, transforming ancestral karma into conscious inheritance and spiritual strength.

Mantra

ॐ पितृभ्यो नमः

Om Pitribhyo Namah

Recite 108 times on Amavasya (new moon day), particularly facing South, the direction of the ancestors. On Pitru Paksha, perform the full Pitru Tarpan ritual for maximum ancestral healing and blessing.

Deity Worship

The Pitrs, Ancestral Fathers, particularly through the annual Pitru Paksha ceremonies

Perform Shraaddha rituals during Pitru Paksha. Offer water with sesame seeds (tarpan) to your ancestors. Feed Brahmins in honor of the ancestral lineage. Light a ghee lamp in the Southwest direction of your home for ancestral blessings.

Gemstone

Cat's Eye (Lahsuniya) for Ketu

Minimum 3 carats, set in silver, worn on the middle finger of the right hand on a Thursday at auspicious muhurta after proper Ketu-energising rituals.

Cat's Eye is a powerful stone that requires careful assessment of Ketu's role in the individual chart before wearing. A malefic Ketu can be further activated. Consult Pt. Dr. Pankaj Madhav before wearing.

Yantra

Ketu Yantra, energised during Ketu Hora on a Tuesday. Place in your home shrine facing South for ancestral connection. A Pitru Yantra specifically is also deeply beneficial for Magha natives seeking ancestral healing.

Charitable Acts

  • Feed Brahmins on Amavasya and during Pitru Paksha
  • Donate food and resources to elderly people, they represent the ancestral wisdom
  • Support heritage conservation and cultural preservation projects
  • Donate cow's milk and sesame seeds, traditional ancestral offering materials
  • Give to genealogical research and family history preservation

Fasting

Amavasya (new moon), the most sacred day for ancestral work. Also Tuesday (Ketu day) with light fasting.

Colors

Wear ivory, cream, or royal gold on auspicious days. Deep red for Pitru ceremonies. Avoid black on ordinary days, reserve it for specific ancestral rituals.
