यदेव भावे फलमुक्तं तत् फलं बलाधिकस्य।
yadeva bhave phalamuktam tat phalam baladhikasya
“Whatever results have been stated with respect to a Bhava will come to pass only through the strongest planet.”
This single verse from BPHS Chapter 27, Verse 38 is the key to using Shad Bala for prediction. The strongest planet in the chart becomes the primary channel through which a Bhava delivers its results.
Minimum Required Strength · BPHS Chapter 27, Verse 35-37
Parashar explicitly states the minimum required Shad Bala for each planet. Below this minimum, the planet lacks sufficient strength to deliver its promised results consistently.
The weakest planet (below minimum) requires compensatory energy. The gem for that planet should be worn in weight (carats) equal to the difference between the strongest planet's Shad Bala and the weak planet's Shad Bala in Rupas.
If strongest planet = Sun at 8.76 Rupas and weakest = Jupiter at 5.99 Rupas, difference = 2.77 Rupas. Wear Yellow Topaz or Diamond of minimum 2.77 carats weight for Jupiter.
Gems worn in pendant touching the heart region, or in open-setting rings. Friend planets can be worn together in same pendant.
