Important Notes
07
Why "Sunapha"?- "Su" means good, auspicious- "Napha" relates to gain/profit (from Sanskrit "naphā ")
The yoga indicates self-earned auspicious gainsWhy "King-like Status"?- 2nd house represents accumulated wealth, family, speech
A planet here, coming from Moon, gives the native the power to accumulate
The native becomes wealthy and influential like a kingWhy "Self-earned Fortune"?- 2nd house is the house of self-effort and personal accumulation
The planet acts independently of the Moon (unlike 12th house which is behind the Moon)
The native earns through their own efforts, not through inheritance or luck aloneWhy "Virtuous Deeds, Quietude, Contentment"?- 2nd house also represents speech and values
A planet here gives virtuous speech and ethical conduct
Wealth and status bring quietude and contentment when not accompanied by greedSun Excluded – Why?
Sun is a malefic (natural) and represents ego, authority, and soul
Sun in 2nd from Moon can cause ego clashes and excessive ambition
The classical texts exclude Sun to preserve the gentle, prosperous nature of this yoga
